The Cape George Board of Trustees meets twice each month and, as needed will schedule additional meetings. The procedures for setting additional meetings are detailed in the By-Laws.
Except for limited executive sessions, the meetings are open to all members. Members are afforded the opportunity to express their concerns and views to the Board at these meetings.
Study Session:
This preliminary meeting which is held on the Tuesday before the regular meeting is a Study Session where the Board considers issues that will be addressed at the regular Monthly Board meeting. No votes are taken at these sessions, but the agenda for the Regular Board Meeting is finalized.
Board Meeting:
At the regular monthly meeting the Board receives committee reports and the manager’s report, approve the minutes of the previous meeting, debate issues and vote on motions.
